In the short time that Collision Process have been together, they've already been making waves around their West Midlands home and beyond. The band's self-produced debut EP showcases their ability to craft challenging yet accessible music within the metal genre. Ferocious, odd-metre rhythms are seamlessly combined with infectious melodies and solid grooves throughout each of the disc's 4 songs.
Early in the band's career, the EP tracks led them to victory in Total Biker FM's "TBFM Factor" competition against over 130 other unsigned rock and metal bands, getting voted to the top by listeners tuning in to the show. They have also received airplay from several other radio shows, including Top Rock Radio and The Metal Gods Rock Show on Radio Teesdale.
Having hit the live scene for the first time in June 2010, fan attendance has grown steadily with each show. In their first year on the circuit, the band have already supported Romeo Must Die and The Defiled (Best New Band nominees at Metal Hammer's Golden God awards) during their 2011 tour. They have also appeared at this year's Glastonbudget open-air festival in Leicestershire, attended by around 10,000 people.
In the immediate future, Collision Process aim to extend their reach to a wider audience, further advancing their reputation around the live circuit beyond their home territory, and continuing to promote the EP as well as their new digitally released single 'Emperors'.
